EMC 21 - A look at the entries so far...

With four days until the start of the 21st Eurosong Music Contest, let's take a look at the entries lined up for Medellin so far.

Anjulie for
Canada
Armenia - Emmy will return to the Eurosong stage after representing Bosnia-Herzegovina in the special edition, giving them a disappointing result of 20th in a field of 22. Can her entry 'Ayo' fair better for Armenia?

Canada - Anjulie will fly the Canadian flag in Colombia, with her song 'Stand Behind The Music', but can she beat Canada's best placing so far, with Nelly Furtado, of 3rd? We'll see.....

Colombia - Could there be a better time for Colombia to send the worldwide known singer, Shakira. She will have the honour to perform on her homeland, with the Fifa 2010 song 'Waka Waka'. This will be the second Colombian entry to feature an African language.

Fiji - Fiji once again returns to the Eurosong Music Contest, with Kabani representing them for a second time. Can Fiji get into the final for the first time? Good luck to the island and their entry 'Lei Buna'.

F.Y.R.Macedonia - Orhideja shall be representing the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in Medellin, with the song 'Odvedi me'. Can they get FYROM into the top ten again, with only having been there once?

Germany - Germany is back, after being disqualified from EMC 20, with a new head of delegation. Daniele Negroni will fly the Germany colours, hoping to get their first victory. The entry will be 'Absolutely Right'.

Greece - One of the longest serving nations in the EMC is back once again. The Finger shall perform the greek entry 'Die! Die Superhero!'. Do they have what it takes to get us flying out to Hellas in the next edition?

Iceland's Erna
Iceland - Iceland has had a very good run of luck over the past few editions, placing in the top 5 since EMC 18. They are also one of the countries to have come second the most, so will Erna bring them that victory they have been so close to many times? Her entry is Ástin mín eina.

Italy - Annalisa will perform the song 'Senza Reserva' in Colombia. Italy has a pretty good history here at the EMC, along with two victories.

Luxembourg - The grand duchy is back once again, after an impressive 7th place in Stockholm. France's David Guetta will be performing the Luxembourgish entry, 'Titanium', along with singer, Sia.

Mexico - Mexico are yet to place in the top ten, but can Yuridia achieve this?? Mexico's entry will be 'Ya Te Olvidé'. Maybe after the luck of another country in the americas, it could be Mexico's turn.

Moldova - Moldovan artist Natalia Barbu will be performing the entry for the landlocked nation. After performing in the 2007 ESC and placing 10th, can her entry 'Let's Jazz' do better in the EMC?

Netherlands - Sharon Doorson will be performing the Dutch entry this edition. The Netherlands won the contest in EMC 14, will 'Fall In Love' do as well?

Norway - The scandanavian country placed 4th in the special edition, and has been in the final in every edition they have been in, will Maria and Mira fair as well with their song 'Mine All Mine'.

San Marino - San Marino will be taking part in their 4th edition in EMC 21. In EMC 1, they reached an amazing 2nd place, and in the special edition they ranked 18th in the final, after placing 8th in the SF. Alessandro Amroso will be performing the entry 'Ciao'.

Slovakia - We welcome Slovakia to the EMC for the first time! The will debut with the song 'Run Run Run' performed by artist Celeste Buckingham.

Ruslana
South Korea - Along with a few other countries, South Korea is one of the longest serving nations in the EMC. They have won it once and hosted it twice, in Seoul and Jeju Island. Psy will be flying the Korean flag in Medellin, with the song 'Gangnam Style'.

Sweden - The Swedish national selection has literally just ended and we can confirm that Linda Pritchard will represent Sweden in EMC 21, with her song 'Alive'. This is the second song in this edition with this title. Can Sweden rack up yet another victory?

Ukraine - Ruslana is taking to the EMC stage once again, after representing the Ukraine in the 2nd EMC. She placed 7th then, can she better that this time? Her entry is 'Davaj, graj!'

USA - Annet Artani will be representing the USA in this edition, however she is probably best known to you, as the 2006 representative for Cyprus in the ESC. Her entry for the EMC will be 'Alive'.

Vatican City - The Vatican City is another debutant for EMC 21. Senit will fly the Holy See's flag in Colombia, after previously represnting San Marino twice and Italy once in the EMC. Her song is 'No More'.

Wales - Wales participates again in the EMC, this time with famous 90s and 00s group 'Steps'. They covered Diana Ross's hit 'Chain Reaction' and this will be the Welsh entry for EMC 21.
