Question to all participants

Each EMC, a deadline time and date is always clearly stated for each semi-final and final.

Should participants fail to send me their votes before the deadline, they will be disqualified. This is also clearly stated.

There has recently been an issue, where a participant sent their votes to me too late, and I wouldn't allow for their votes to be counted, as the results/qualifiers had already been decided at the point of the voting deadline.

Is this a fair way of doing this process, as I see no other way of setting the voting period.

If anybody has any feelings towards this matter, please feel free to email me - eurosongmusiccontest@gmail.com

  1. The deadlines are clearly stated. Other people make sure they reach the deadlines and they vote as soon as they see the message. Why should this be different to anyone else.
Nobody in this contest is more important than anyone else. If there is a date set for you to vote you are expected to make it, just like everyone else. If you send your votes in afterwards you should not expect to be able to be let in the final when you've failed to do what everyone else has or what has been asked of you in the contest.
I don't understand how anybody can question the logic of this.
