The next three countries who will participate in the 17th EMC are Croatia, Poland and England.

Croatia will be represented by Tonci Huljic & Madre Badessa Band also featuring Petar Graso with the song 'Providenca'. Can Croatia get its best placing so far with this mixture?

Pixie Lott - England EMC 17

Brathanki will fly the Polish colours in this edition. The entry that Poland is sending is 'Czerwone Korale'. Will Poland win their first contest with Brathanki?

England will have the well known artist Pixie Lott represent them. 'All About Tonight' will be the English entry. England has been one of the most successful countries in the EMC to date, will Pixie help the country keep this record?

Armenia is ready for EMC 17

Armenia is now the tenth country to announce its return to the EMC, and they have come back fighting. They have chosen american Kim Kardashian (of armenian decent), to represent them in the upcoming contest.


Kim will sing her song 'Jam (Turn It Up)' in EMC 17. Will having such a famous name help Armenia win the show?

Russia and Belgium join!

Vera Brezhneva - EMC 17, Russia

Russia will join the EMC for the 17th edition. Former member of VIA Gra, Vera Brezhneva, will have the honour to represent Russia with the song 'Ryeal'naya Zhizn'.
Russia have also announced that they will be putting forward St. Petersburg as a contender to host this editions contest. St. Petersburg will now join the other five cities bidding to host the contest.


K3, Belgium EMC 17

Belgium will also return to this edition after winning song of the year in 2011. K3 will fly the belgian colours in EMC 17, with the song Waar zijn die engeltjes.

Six cities have expressed interest in hosting the 17th EMC

The following six cities have expressed an interest in hosting the 17th EMC -

Tallinn - Estonia
Jerusalem - Israel
Oslo - Norway

Stockholm - Sweden

Jeju Island - South Korea
St. Petersburg - Russia

The cut off date for cities expressing an interest is the 24th July at 1am CET. Once the deadline passes, a poll will be placed on the EMC site, and it will be up to the public to decide which city will host the 17th EMC. Sweden, South Korea & Iceland return!

Sweden, South Korea and Iceland are the next three countries to return to the EMC!

Eric Saade and Tone Damli - Sweden EMC 17

Sweden has got the ESC 2011 heart throb, Eric Saade, representing them in the 17th edition. He has teamed up with Norwegian Tone Damli and they will perform their entry 'Imagine'. Tone Damli previously represented Norway in the EMC, will this give Sweden an advantage?

South Korea EMC 17 - Lena Park

South Korea will be making their return also. They have chosen Lena Park to represent them, with the song 'Moon'. Can South Korea win their second title?

Simbi - Iceland EMC 17

Iceland will have Simbi & Hrútspungarnir represent them in the 17th EMC, with the song 'Hey'. They tried their luck in the Icelandic National Final in 2012, but lost against Greta Salome and Jonsi. Can they do better in the EMC?

FYR Macedonia joins!

FYR Macedonia is the fourth country to join the 17th edition of the Eurosong Music Contest. This will be the debut of FYR Macedonia in the EMC, and we warmly welcome them!

The representatives chosen for the country are Robert Bilbilov and Viktorija Loba. They will perform their entry 'Ti si Vinovna'

Estonia, Israel & Norway are the first to return to the EMC



Malcolm Lincoln, Estonia EMC 17

Estonia, Israel and Norway are the first countries to announce their return to the EMC.

Estonia will have a former Eurovision participant fly their flag in the 17th edition.

Dana International and
Yardena Arazi



Malcolm Lincoln, who represented Estonia in 2010, will perform the song 'Bye'.

Israel will have the winner of the 1998 ESC, Dana International, peform their entry, along with Israeli singer Yardena Arazi. They will sing their song 'When Men Dance'.

Rikke Normann,
Norway EMC 17

 Rikke Normann will fly the Norwegian flag in the 17th Edition, with her entry 'Shapeshifter'. Rikke has attempted to represent Norway twice in the ESC, failing both times. Could her luck be better in the EMC?
